Between Orbits

Between Orbits unfolds in a space where individuality and connection continuously intersect. Drawing subtle inspiration from astrology and myth, each dancer follows their own orbit — distinct, evolving and deeply personal. At certain moments these trajectories meet forming fleeting constellations: patterns we recognize, name and feel before they dissolve again.

The work explores the tension of being alone together, how separate bodies, histories and rhythms can coexist while remaining true to their own paths. Rooted in the multidimensional language of jazz dance the piece shifts between softness and precision, structure and improvisation, allowing each performer’s unique voice to emerge.

Collaboratively created Between Orbits is shaped by both the dancers and the choreographer each bringing their own dance journey into the process. What unfolds is a living composition where individuality is not lost in the group but rather illuminated by it like stars briefly aligning in the shared sky.
