Scope provides audio equipment rental in Helsinki for music, events, and creative projects!
The service exists to support live performances, workshops, and public events!
All equipment is part of Scope’s shared production infrastructure. It is regularly used in our own events and projects, but made available for external use when not in active use.

Set of Mackie Thump 15 + Stands
Mackie Thump 15A PA set including two 15” active speakers, speaker stands, and necessary cabling. Suitable for small to mid-size events, performances, rehearsals, and DJ setups. The system is designed for quick setup and reliable sound reinforcement in a wide range of live and creative production contexts!
Soundcraft EPM8
Soundcraft EPM8 is an 8-channel analog mixing console included as part of a rental setup with necessary cabling. Built with a robust metal chassis and designed for use! Suitable for small live events. EPM8 offers straightforward signal routing and dependable performance.
Shure Sm58
Shure SM58 is a dynamic cardioid vocal microphone included in a rental setup with a standard microphone clip and cabling. Built with a robust metal construction and designed for reliable live use, it is a standard choice for vocals in performances, rehearsals, and events. The SM58 delivers consistent sound and durability in demanding stage environments. After humanity is long gone, the world will likely be populated by cockroaches, Nokia 3310s, and these SM58s.
XLR- Cable
XLR cables are included as part of every rental setup in sufficient quantity to ensure reliable connections between microphones, mixers, speakers, and other audio equipment. They are part of Scope’s shared cable pool, meaning there is always enough available for building a setup properly, without compromise or improvisation. In live production, they tend to follow a simple rule: during setup there are never quite enough, and during teardown there are always too many.
Shure Sm57
Shure SM57 is a dynamic cardioid microphone included in a rental setup with a standard microphone clip and cabling. Built with a robust metal construction and designed for reliable live use, it is a classic stage microphone used for everything from amplifiers and drums to vocals and general live sound. It is known for handling loud sources well and just doing its job without fuss, night after night.

Full PA package assembled from items above:
Scope association members: 120,00€
Non-members: 200,00€
The package includes a complete audio setup with speakers, stands, cabling, and mixing equipment as required for most small to mid-size events. If you need something more specific or a custom configuration, get in touch and we’ll shape the setup around your project.
Bookings must be made at least one week before the rental period begins.
Equipment is collected and returned at Scope’s warehouse in Helsinki, located in Lauttasaari at Vattuniemenkatu 16.
Pickup and return take place on-site at agreed times. The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear

Our goal is to make audio equipment more accessible for independent artists, organisers, and communities working in music and culture. By sharing resources, we aim to lower the barriers for creating, producing, and presenting cultural work.
Equipment rental is part of Scope’s wider ecosystem. All income is reinvested into maintaining equipment and developing more shared tools and production capacity for the cultural field.
