TEDI’s long-awaited Soul Talk album gets the reception it deserves as the release party takes place on September 18th, 19:00–01:30 at Maanalainen. The evening is headlined by TEDI himself, but the stage will also host soulful artists bringing both alternative trap sounds and old-school styles. Joining TEDI on stage are HVANNES, LUVHEGE, wolfthorn, and Ella V.
After TEDI’s performance, the night continues with the already familiar Scope n’ mic concept, hosted by local hip hop legend Transsi Kela and cultural all-rounder VEINI.
Soul Talk EP is a summery work born out of genuine moments and emotions. Each track is built around sparkling vocal samples that bring the songs to life in a fresh way. Calm yet meaningful rhymes create the atmosphere one often wishes for in summer. The project showcases TEDI’s versatility as an artist—on the album he emerges both as a sensitive poetic soul and as a laid-back rap dude. The perfect combo!
